My Familiar.In your car (take me home) In your company. Morning cigarette hangs out a car window, as the radio sings to the floor.My Familiar.
An old friend, a new place. Keep my energy until the end of the day. Familiar faces smile on bright fluorescent paper. Never talk, don't even have the will power. Take it like a man, sit down like a women. Silence that drones a home that isn't even mine.
Coffee stains my sleeve, my cigarette is at an end. Laughing at something better. As I walk away, my face aches from smiling, and thoughts of finding home.
